Abstract: The *Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) for 31 to 50 Bedded Sub-District/Sub-Divisional Hospitals (Revised 2010 – Draft)* provides standardized guidelines to improve healthcare delivery at the sub-district level in India. It covers infrastructure, manpower, equipment, and essential services like emergency care, maternal health, and diagnostics. The guidelines also include quality assurance measures, capacity building, and community participation through Rogi Kalyan Samities. Detailed annexures offer guidance on biomedical waste, mercury management, blood storage, and neonatal care. These standards aim to ensure equitable, accessible, and quality healthcare aligned with national health goals and to strengthen the public health system across the country.
