Abstract: The *Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) for Primary Health Centres (PHCs) – Revised 2010 (Draft)* provides guidelines to enhance and standardize healthcare at the PHC level across India. It defines essential services such as outpatient care, maternal health, immunization, and disease surveillance. The standards outline requirements for infrastructure, manpower, drugs, equipment, transport, and waste management. Emphasis is placed on quality assurance, monitoring, and accountability. Annexures offer tools like immunization schedules, staff roles, patient rights, and reporting formats. The framework aims to ensure accessible, equitable, and efficient healthcare delivery, supporting India’s goal of universal health coverage through well-functioning PHCs.
