Abstract: This development plan aims to revitalize Kushinagar and Sravasti, two significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites, into world-class tourist destinations while preserving their spiritual significance. The comprehensive master plan integrates modern amenities, eco-friendly design, and efficient transportation while maintaining cultural integrity. The architectural approach harmonizes contemporary structures with the sacred environment, including a tourism complex, climate control, and sustainable design features. Inspired by Ahmedabad’s urban planning, the project seeks to balance spiritual and commercial needs, fostering economic growth and cultural tourism. Ultimately, it aims to position these sites as global centers of pilgrimage and learning, offering a sustainable and enriching experience for visitors.
