Abstract: This study examines layout patterns and housing densities in urban residential developments, focusing on planning strategies that enhance land use efficiency and livability. It analyzes various layout types—grid, radial, linear, and cul-de-sac—and their effects on achievable densities and urban form. Key planning aspects include road networks, open spaces, plot sizes, and infrastructure. Based on field observations and secondary data, the study offers insights and recommendations for optimizing residential layouts to support sustainable urban development.
