Abstract: The exhibition *Living in Cities*, five years after its debut, returned to its origins to highlight the connection between message and messenger. No longer a mere curiosity at the International Building Exhibition (IBE) in Berlin, it became a key platform for South-South dialogue. Its international presentation earned recognition by fostering intercultural exchange and revealing urban life as a bridge between cultures. Accompanying seminars by the Goethe Institute enabled visitors to reflect on their own cities through global comparisons. Praised for its scientific approach and neutrality, the exhibition stood out for its in-depth exploration of urban history, themes, and perspectives.
