Abstract: The history of North Konkan is included in it. All old Bakharis have a prose-verse composition, as is the case in this Bakhari. Like other Bakharis, this Bakhari also contains all kinds of judgments, accounts, descriptions of battles, mahajars, genealogies, political letters. Mahikavati means Mahim, which is not Mahim in present-day Mumbai but Mahim near Vasai. The original Bakhari is given in 108 pages. However, the one hundred and ten page introduction written by V.K. Rajwade on the occasion of this Bakhari is more important than the original Bakhari.
