A pilot project will test innovative street furniture designs, followed by structured design development, approvals, and implementation. The study outlines strategies to replicate the pilot across the Heritage Mile, supported by a management framework for sustainable maintenance. The proposed scheme integrates functional, aesthetic, and heritage-sensitive elements, promoting a vibrant, accessible, and well-managed public realm in Mumbai.
