Abstract: This book blends the author’s academic background in development economics and agrarian studies with hands-on involvement in development issues. The initial focus of the study was on the development-induced displacement resulting from the proposal to build a new international airport for Mumbai at Rewas-Mandwa in Alibag tehsil.
