Abstract: The proceedings of the sixth seminar in the Aga Khan Award for Architecture series focus on “Changing Rural Habitat,” addressing contemporary rural transformations in the Islamic world. Held in China, a predominantly rural country with a Muslim minority, the seminar emphasized the design profession’s role in rural development.
