Abstract: This publication compiles measured drawings of Indian architecture to address a gap faced by students and architects. Existing works, such as Fergusson’s histories and Archaeological Survey publications, focus on monumental styles and lack affordable, practical references for everyday architecture. Photographs, while helpful, don’t replace measured drawings for architectural study. The drawings here were made by Indian students, mostly from their own surveys, with some redrawn from official sources with permission. The aim is to provide accessible, construction-focused resources that include domestic structures often overlooked in scholarly works. Acknowledgments are given to contributors and reviewers who supported the publication.
