Abstract: This report not only describes, in poignant detail, the pain and suffering of women in Mumbai’s slums on account of non-existent or abysmally poor sanitation facilities. It also makes some pointed recommendations which, if implemented, will surely bring about a tangible transformation. I would like to mention here the main recommendations.
